Alina - after Rick Owens, PFW 2012

The problem with wearing black is that black is very difficult to photograph. Often when shooting street style you do not have time to choose the best lighting or location so we have to deal with what we have. I really wanted to show you the intricate detail of Alina's dress so the easiest way was to turn it into black and white. Look at how many panels the dress consist of and how well it fits her body... I think it is a very simple yet a very interesting dress... Thoughts?

I completely agree. It's all in the details... unless you're wearing black or another dark colour! Gorgeous dress! Thanks for dropping past my blog. I'm following, would love if you followed back.xx

2 great shots and yes the b/w was a great way to show us the wonderful detail. Shooting into the light. Take your light reading in any shadow s you can find, or from the ground if it is not bathed in light. Be careful of flare (which means light from the sun in the lens). Hope this helps. Xxxx
