On modelling...

Recently watched the movie Girl Model which gives a very sober account of what it is like to be a young model starting out in the Japanese market. For me I guess it struck a few cords. Firstly because I am russian and hence I have a good idea of what life can be like in some parts of Russia and hence why a lot of these girls want a shot at being a model as it is a ticket to get out of the current conditions and not only earn money but also travel and see the world. And secondly, I know what being homesick means as I left home at a very young age and since then have spent more time being apart from my family then with them. Another thing I found fascinating is how complex Ashley's character is - there is just so much going on in that little head of hers, its like you cannot even begin to understand.
